    EMDR is an evidence-based psychological therapy that is often very effective for anxiety, chronic stress and burnout. Anxiety or burnout are sometimes linked to past experiences or negative beliefs that are unprocessed or blocked. EMDR works by allowing your mind and body to gently release these “blocks” at your own pace. Many of my clients describe EMDR as being transformative and empowering as it focuses on your unique strengths and resilience.

    I specialise in somatic psychology and evidence-based mind-body practices for high functioning anxiety, chronic stress and burnout. I’ve been personally practising mindfulness and yoga for many years and I qualified as a Yoga for Health practitioner in 2018. I now incorporate my knowledge of yoga, psychology, neuroscience and nervous system regulation to help my clients to find more peace, balance and fulfilment in their lives.

    Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) is based on evolutionary psychology, attachment theory and the neuroscience of emotions.
